Anybody that knows me well can tell you that I used to hate mixing neutrals – and basically not “matching”. Honestly, I was a bit obsessive about it! Lately, I had been experimenting – a brown Fendi bag with green shoes and a blue dress was the outfit that a friend of mine said made her proud! (I didn’t have the heart to tell her I couldn’t find my green Givenchy bag!)
Then, I happened upon this adorable Isabel Marant. And a hot guy asked me out for cocktails…
So…I’m in my closet and this dress still had the tags on it because I hadn’t happened upon a great event to wear it yet. What greater event than a hot date with a gorgeous man? I pull out the dress and immediately I know I do not have a shoe or a bag that would “work” with this beautiful dress. That’s when I fell all the way down the rabbit hole and never looked back!
